Milestone for #GTS in Nigeria’s Polio SIA: first campaign monitored at 47 000+ teams.
In 2025, during Polio SIA activities using the RES approach across 7 states, NPHCDA coordinated 47,000+ vaccination teams in a single round, an impressive operational achievement!
Congratulations to National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and all vaccination, supervision and data teams for delivering at this scale. Recognition as well to eHealth Africa for implementation support and coordination.
#GTS provided the monitoring platform enabling real-time oversight of this complex operation, and we’re now preparing the system for the next rounds in 2026 as Nigeria continues progress toward interrupting cVPV2 transmission.
